Weapon System Demo

A modular first-person weapon system built in Unity, showcasing a flexible framework for hitscan weapons, ammo management, and responsive weapon switching — all playable directly in your browser.

Features:

  • Three weapons — Pistol, Assault Rifle, and Shotgun — each with unique fire modes, reload behavior, and audio.
  • Instant weapon switching — cycle weapons with number keys (1/2/3) or the scroll wheel with zero input lag, even when switching rapidly.
  • Shotgun shell-by-shell reload — dynamic reload audio that reflects exactly how many shells are being loaded.
  • Ammo pickups — collect reserve ammo scattered around the arena; pickups and targets automatically respawn over time, or instantly via the on-screen Reset Field button.
  • Dynamic aim-tracking crosshair that responds to weapon spread and fire state.
  • Full pause menu — Continue/Exit options with an Exit confirmation step, accessible via Esc (with an on-screen reminder so you always know how).
  • Audio-visual UI feedback — every button highlights and plays a sound on hover and click.
  • Target range — shootable targets with impact sound feedback and automatic respawning.

Built with Unity's modular weapon architecture, designed to be easily extended with new weapon types, pickups, and UI.  Feedback and donations are always appreciated, but the build is free to play either way.
